Book covers are like clothes, they help build my confidence as a writer.
Cathy has to date designed four fabulous book covers for my books: Ignited by Education, Slowed by a Baby, Trapped Inside the Family Box, and, Propelled by a Job
Before I met Cathy, I became nervous whenever someone picked a copy of my books and asked what the book was about. The more I explained, the more I realized I needed new book covers that reflected the theme of my books – women in Africa adapting to change.
I asked for suggestions from some of the FB groups I participate in and one writer provided Cathy’s contacts. I took the leap and have no regrets. Cathy has designed covers that have received praises from many people in the last three months – I look forward to an increase in book sales soon.
What I like most is that Cathy does not hesitate to provide guidance as the competent artist she is. There have been occasions when I ask a question or for alterations to a work in progress and Cathy has provided a befitting explanation on the pros and cons of effecting the suggested change. The product has always turned out right.
Now that I am confident of Cathy’s work as a book cover designer, I am encouraged to write more books.
